'Louis The Game' - Your New Favourite Game has a Designer Twist

As Louis Vuitton reaches its 200-year anniversary, the brand has released a game that takes you through a Louis themed world. Titled ‘Louis the Game’, the Designer Universe takes you through different worlds collecting 200 candles to celebrate the anniversary. Following the character ‘Vivienne’ through 6 fabulous realms, you have the chance to update looks along the way – choose the colourful LV monogram or an all-over cow print! Louis the Game provides an insight in to the long climb to success that Louis Vuitton’s founder had and pays homage to the beautifully curated brand we see today.

With our phones constantly glued to our hands and games allowing us the space to escape social media, Louis Vuitton isn’t the first brand to move in to gaming. With Gen-Z becoming notoriously hard to please in a world over-saturated and over-stimulated, brands are looking to the gaming world to make a stronger connection with this crowd. As games are accessible to anyone with a smart phone, luxury brands now have the chance to reach audiences that, let’s be honest, can’t afford the physical products. Since Animal Crossing introduced designer garments in to their adventure-based game, a bridge has been created allowing this unlikely pairing to develop further.

Louis The Game has given the chance for fans to learn too, with postcards to collect on the way each with their own historical fact of the LV brand – did you know Cambridge University commissioned its very own Louis Trunk in 1910 for Encyclopedia storage?

I can confirm that the game is addictive and not as easy as it may seem on the surface. With sensitive controls and buildings to climb, the game will have you sucked down a designer hole for days on end.
